A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22

Because I don’t know what’s going on but apparently you do!

I’ve been reading all over blogland that something is going to be happening to the Google connect follower thingy over there on my side bar. Apparently all your precious little faces are going to disappear. Is this correct? If it is, I’ll miss seeing your noggins.

So what does this mean? Well “apparently” you’ll need to find an alternative way to keep in touch. SO right above the “follower” thingy I have two choices, you can either subscribe  and get my most informative blog posts directly to your email OR you can add me to your Google reader by subscribing to my RSS feed. Oh and there’s always FB. That’s where you get to be all up close and personal with me. If you want. That’s right below the Google thingy.

I guess this is affecting everyone so I wanted to make sure I passed this information on, because what fun is blogging without the most fabulous readers on the planet?

So there you have it.

HAVE A FABULOUS DAY MY FRIENDS!!

  2. I have not heard anything about this. I will have to look in to it. It would seem they would let us know or something.

  3. I think this is just if you don't use Blogger.

  5. This only affects non-Blogger blogs (self hosted Word Press, Typepad). If your blog is hosted on one of those, Google is taking away the abiility to use GFC as a means of gaining followers. They want to push everyone to use Google+. So, basically, since my blog is hosted on WP, apparently as of today those who follow me via the GFC feature will no longer see me in their dashboards. If you are on Blogger you are fine, at least for now. Oh and I am following you through RSS!

  6. Barbie already mentioned it - but yeah, this is not affecting Blogger blogs so your readers/friends have nothing to worry about (at the moment anyway)!

Big if-your-google-friend-connect-stopped-working-then-maybe-I-could-catch-up-in-a-couple-years size hugs to you!!! Love ya! :)

  8. Hi there, I am a google blogger so won't be dropped from you and vice versa. I guess it only impacts those that are on Wordpress or another site.
I just wish they'd stop changing things-it's hard as we get older to adjust.
    Have a great evening.

  10. Google was supposed to remove the GFC "thingy" at the end of February. It's March and all my lovely followers are still here...yeah :) :) However, my favorite way of following a blog is via email to my inbox :) :) I follow via that, GFC and Facebook :) :) Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)

  11. I'm so tired of trying to figure out all these changes! First Google, then face book. Stop the madness! Lol! The only change I really want to see is in the White House!!! Oops--did I just write that out loud?? Somehow we'll make it. We just all need to stick together. And eat more chocolate, of course! Hugs!
