My Daughter’s Wedding

If you read my last post you know that we’ve had a couple of very busy months. One of those things that kept us busy was my daughter’s wedding. I know you have been waiting patiently for some pictures so I’m here to oblige.

So let me bring you up to speed about how the wedding went down. First of all my daughter had to plan this with a very limited budget. My hubby didn’t know until a couple weeks before their wedding whether or not he was going to have a job so they had to plan accordingly. They bought what they could we bought what we could and my parents helped when they could. It was a group effort.

With that said, I think it came out just perfect. She found her dress on Craigslist brand new for only $200.00. To save even more money they opted for a 2:00 pm ceremony and then had a cake and punch reception. I believe there was close to 100 attendees. She had so many compliments on how beautiful everything was and how you really didn’t feel like you were missing anything. And best of all, there was no debt. Woo! Hoo!

So the pictures you are about to see are random shots that should speak for themselves unless of course I choose to speak for them, which I might. I hope you enjoy. (If the pictures seem a little blurry, it’s not you. I copied them from her FB page and you know how that goes. But I’m sure you’ll enjoy them any way.)

  4. Awesome photos! Kelsey's dress is absolutely beautiful. (So is yours, by the way.) And that cake...incredible. Does Kathy have a cake-making business? Or is she just naturally talented that way?

Anyhow, rejoicing with your family on this wonderful, blessed event.

    Love,
    Patti

  7. Hi Kim, I've missed you but have also been so busy that haven't been visiting others much. What a wonderful wedding with a beautiful couple-but I have to say you look more like a sister of the bride than the mother of the bride. The best is yet to come-in a few years you could have grands.
    Hugs, Noreen
