Brrrr! I almost can't stand it!

Well we just had our first official "cold" front of the season pass over us. Yes-sir-ee, it's going to dip down to a high of only 85 today! Woo! Hoo! *she said, dripping with sarcasm*
But you know what? I'll take it and I am going to "officially" decorate my home for Fall!

I'm a bit behind you all, unless you consider my sad attempt last week, actually decorating.
And because my last few posts have been a bit wordy and nobody really likes wordy, I'm keeping this short today. I just wanted to make sure you knew just what I'm going to be doing today with my windows shut and my A/C running!
Welcome Fall!

I'll post pictures tomorrow!!

  1. LOL!....for the first time in my life I can totally relate to that!! We had a rainy day last week and I don't think it got higher than about 62 that day!!! It was CHILLY! We have a front coming through tomorrow and our highs by Saturday will only be mid-70s. Aahhh, fall! ;)

  3. But doesn't the slight drop in temp put you in more of a fall decorating mood? You may even generate more decorating ideas!

  5. My heater disguised itself like an AC last night. With 40 degree nights lately, it felt like I woke up in the North Pole.
Oh by the way, Santa said if you are going to tease your readers about your "balmy" weather, he's going to have to think twice about leaving you a stash of chocolate this year! He's just thinkin' for now.........and I'm just conveyin' the message...if you get my drift.....not a snow one.... anyhow....

  6. I'm glad to hear you have a cold front. It's like living in Phoenix. We are excited because today will be less than 100 degrees!

BTW, I have a blog award for you on today's Heart Choices post. It's a fun one and so I thought of you.

  7. Yay for your Fall decorating! I've been worried about that lonely little pumpkin! :)

It's in the 70's here, but will heat back up into the 80's tomorrow. Dad and I are heading up to Apple Hill today where the apple orchards are - a very fun Fall activity around here. Mmmmm...apple donuts!

Hope you have a nice day in the "cold!" Big lonely-little-pumpkin-is-about-to-get-some-friends hugs to you!! Have a wonderful day!

Oh, and I'm sure you saw I had no post today - too tired and I won't have time today. I'm sure the blogosphere will survive - just barely though, right? :)

  11. Kim,

Here is some cooler weather headed your way! We just had our first 48 degree morning in the high desert here in California and we are loving it. So glad when we can set the AC to off and the heater and fireplace to ON!

  12. 85 degrees? That is about 4 or 5 degrees less than it was last week when we were in Florida. It must feel like fall for sure! :)

  13. I'm celebrating fall with you. Yep, it's 85 here in the desert and my a/c is on. But my autumn decorations are up.

  15. WooHoo! I hardly got online yesterday at all, coz it was as close to a perfect day as ever I've seen. Open windows, nice breeze... aaaaahhhhhhhhh..... Today is super nice, as well. A little warm when the afternoon sun hits the family room, but blinds and the fan solved that. Oh, I just LOVE this time of year! Can't wait to see your pumpkin embellished. 8-}

    Love ya loads, decorator diva!
    Have a JESUS-filled day! ^i^
