March!

I can't believe it's March already. Nine months till Christmas. Four months until my birthday. Fourteen days until Daylight Savings Time when I'd wished I'd gone to bed an hour earlier to make up the deficit.
I tell my kids, the older you get the faster time seems to go by. Right? I mean I just realized yesterday that I still had a snowman figurine sitting on my bookshelf from Christmas!
Do you see him? He's pretending to be a Willow Tree figurine. He looks happy there so I'll probably just leave him! That and all the Christmas decorations are now packed away in the attic. I mean wasn't Christmas just like, yesterday?

As I was flipping my calendar to the next page this morning I remembered that I said I would take a picture of it for you each month at your suggestion. Cause you remember all the trouble I had getting it right? No? You're new? Well feel free to read about it here and here.

I liked this months picture.
Here's a looksy!
Click on the picture to enlarge it and read what it says. It's so true about finding just the right best friend. I've been blessed with a wonderful best friend for the last 14 years. Best friends are great because husbands don't always "get you". But a girlfriend does. You definitely need a sense of humor to be my friend, and I'm sure you all do or you wouldn't be here!
I wish you all could come to my 40th this year. THAT would be a hoot!

Well I'll stop rambling on. Do you have special plans this month?
It's my BFF's birthday this month and since she LOVES chocolate, I may be FORCED to eat some. I mean I wouldn't want to be rude or anything. Yup! I'm that good of a friend!

HUGS TO YOU MY FRIENDS!

  1. Oh Kim....how you make me laugh! Your snowman pretending to be a Willow Tree LOL

You do have a wonderful BFF! You are sooo nice to eat chocolate JUST FOR HER!! ;)

We will be going to Tennessee to spread some of Dads ashes during spring break. My family, my brothers family and my stepmom. It's gonna be tough. This summer we will go to California to Yosemite and spread some there as well.

  10. How on earth can it be March already? Seems like we were just shopping for Christmas last week. It sure does go fast.

We have some bulbs coming up, and the tree buds are turning red. It's even above freezing. I like spring too!

  12. Kim,

Well happy March since today is filled with new beginnings and possibilities. The 3rd is my birthday and I hope to be celebrating with my dear sweet family on that day, no school for the kids either just sleep in.

I too, have found those Christmas decorations that just don't want to be put away. I mean honestly, who wants to be locked up for 10 months out of the year, isolated and in the dark. No wonder they hide.

Love all your willow tree figurines, both my girls collect them, and I got the nativity set for Christmas this year! Love them!

    Love and Hugs ~ Kat
