Friday Funnies!

Hello my friends. The last few weeks have been kind of slow here but hopefully you all will have more to share this week. It can be a personal funny story, a video, a joke or whatever, as long as it's family friendly.
Just link what you got at the end of this post.

Today I want to talk to you about a couple things that I've been pondering.

First I want to know what a "daylight" is and why it scares so easily. And will it come back after it calms down? Will it ever be the same again? Does it take up a lot of space? Is that why my stomach sticks out?
You know you've said it. "Man, you scared the daylights out of me."
Please help, because I lost mine yesterday. How will I know when it's back?

Second, I'd like to know why a dickins hurts so bad? Have you ever seen a dickins? Because when I ran into the door the other day, it sure did hurt like the dickins? Can you send me a picture? I want to see who or what it is and why it's hurting all the time.

Hopefully your mind isn't leaving here all mushy today.
I thought I brought up some pretty legitimate concerns.

It's like this. I ask the questions and you my friends answer them for me. Cause I have the smartest friends in blogland! I'm buttering you up pretty good aren't I? There's another one. Buttering you up. Do we really need a visual on that? Would you even let me? LOL!

 I have one last question.
What does one do when one's son gets their head stuck in a stool?

I actually have this answer. She takes pictures!
Wouldn't you?

Have a fabulous Friday my friends!
HUGS!

Kim

    I googled.
Dickens is an olde term for Devil, so there ya have that one...not sure about the daylight thing. :)
I have one for you now...Why doesn't Tarzan have a beard? huh?

    And um, Jeffrey. Yup.

  6. And you butter up your son's head to help him get it out! Hey, a handful of Crisco would help too! Then maybe - just maybe - he would think before he tries that again! LOL!

  9. Have you read any Charles Dickens books? Some the characters are pretty scary! Wonder if that is where the term came from? Great questions. Inquiring minds want to know.

I'd take a picture, too if my kid's head was stuck in a stool. Really, where do they think to do this stuff???

Have a great weekend! I've got a great giveaway on my blog, so if you have chance and want to enter, hop on over.

  10. Of course, every good mom takes pictures of anything that will be a good memory years down the road. This is surely one to cherish!

  13. LOL! When I saw that head shot, I flashed back to Beaver with his head in the fence.

Shoulda figgered Kathy'd beat me to the dickens ditty. As for daylights, it's yet another tribute to the olde style. In bygone days, daylights referred to one's eyes, or occasionally, spectacles or windows. In more recent times, it denotes consciousness.

Got a good giveaway coming up. You're gonna like it. 8-]

    Love ya loads, sweet thang!
    Have a JESUS-filled day! ^i^
