30 Day Photo Fun! Day 8- Sunset

JunePhotoChallenge1

This was a toughy as I had to remember to do this last night so I could post it today. I managed to remember but I was racing the little black cloud that was creeping into the picture from the right hand side.

So between the trees in the backyard and the little black cloud, this is as good as it got.

But while I was standing there I heard some commotion on the other side of the house. This is what was causing it.

It’s a little blurry but I’m sure you’ll see him.

It’s a hawk sitting on our fence. The mocking birds were going CRAZY. They would dive bomb him and he’d just sit there. In this picture he turned to look at me and I have to admit I was a little nervous. LOL! They are so much bigger than you think and I didn’t want to get any closer. A blurry picture was fine with me.

Have a fabulous day my friends.

  5. I think your hawk is nicer about posing for pictures than my teens!:)

BTW - someone at another blog pointed out that those trying to comment using Open ID ought to just use Name/URL - She was right. It works quickly and doesn't leave me totally frustrated at blogger!
