New Tiny Tips Series Review and Giveaway!

brandnewseries

When I heard about this new series I was so excited. As a Gooseberry Patch book lover, one of the things I loved about them were the little tidbits of information and tips that they would sprinkle throughout their books. Now they’ve gone and put them into a neat little series.

Right now there are 4 books in the series and they have sent me two of them to review.

I have

cozyhome

and

makegive

At just 5”x5” these books are small in size, but big in the fun department.

The first book, “Tiny Tips for a Cozy Home” gives just that. Goodness gracious I was bookmarking pages left and right. Some of the ideas I am already incorporating.

Things like

IMG_2802

Some of you might remember this picture of my kitchen cabinets after I took the doors off. I gotta tell you, I have been loving this idea. It just makes me happy to be in the kitchen.

IMG_2804

Then there is this quick and easy idea.

IMG_2803

I love using handkerchiefs as part of the decor. I did it here in my white hutch that’s in our bedroom. It just adds that little extra something.

IMG_2807

Here are a few more Tiny Tips!

Need a new handle for your garden gate? Attach a weathered garden tool, like a spade or trowel….how clever!

An old-fashioned mailbox placed on your garden gate makes a handy spot to store small garden tools, gloves and seed packets.

Small birdhouses make whimsical toppers for garden fence posts! Pick up some undecorated ones at a craft store, or collect a variety of styles at flea markets.

As you can see, it would be a great book to add to your collection.

The next book “Tiny Tips for Gifts to Give” has such fun and creative ideas for gift giving. I like the fact that most of them are simple and practical things. I was having “Duh” moment after “Duh” moment because some of the ideas were so cute yet so easy.

Here are just a few of my favorite ideas from the book.

IMG_2799

How cute would this be? You could tuck in a loofah sponge or something with the soap. What a cute gift.

Then there’s this one.

IMG_2798

This would make a great neighbor gift at Christmas or just for someone who loves to bake. This was one of my “Duh” moments. Simple, yet oh so cute!

And just one more.

IMG_2800

I think this one would make great grandparent gifts. Don’t you?

As you can see each book has the cute artwork you’ve come to know and love about Gooseberry Patch. They are just so fun to look at.

If you’d like to see the other two books in the series go here to check them out.

Now Gooseberry Patch only sent one book each this time and it was up to me whether I wanted to give one away. How could I not share with my peeps at least one of the books. So the giveaway is for “Tiny Tips for a Cozy Home”. It was so hard deciding which one to part with.  They are both so fun!

I don't have everything neat and put away, but everything has it's place. I have old quilts that I just love to lay here and there that add character to any room.

  12. My home is cozy BECAUSE of the kids' fingerprints, dirty laundry pile, and loud laughter emanating from within - not in spite of those things.

Wishing everyone the best of luck in this wonderful giveaway! I already "like" GP on Facebook and will go "like" your site, too. Thanks!
