I am loving the dog in this movie!

How do you know you're a fan?

First off let me tell you that I in no way think that I have pretty feet and by showing them to you twice in the past couple of weeks by no means indicates that. With that said, ( oh yeah you know this post is going to cause some brain mushiness) I was in the shower yesterday ( no need to visualize) and as I was washing my feet, when I realized that I wear my flip flops A LOT. How do I know this? Mainly because of this.
I have a flip flop tan. Now I am not one to sit out and sun myself and if I did I'm pretty sure I wouldn't leave my flip flops on. But unless I'm at the gym, my flip flops are on my feet. And I guess after awhile this is bound to happen. You want to know the really sad thing? I took about 15 pictures of my feet trying to make them look better. Different angles, lighting etc. but I've come to realize that I just have ugly feet and there's nothing I can do about it. I'm okay with it though. LOL. No need for therapy at this time.
So are you a fan of the flop? I used to be a fan of the sneaker and had really really white feet and a line around my ankle where the "tan" stopped. It wasn't pretty. Shortly after that is when the flip flops became the shoe of choice. Plus living at the beach it only seems right, right?

Well you didn't come here for the politics remember? LOL. Oh me! With that said, please take my poll on my side bar. I want your opinion.
Big hugs to you my friends who put up with me on a regular basis!

Works For Me Wednesday- Noah Websters 1828 Dictionary

What's working for me today are these two books!
I can't do this book justice. I believe that every homeschooling family should own one and if you love the English language and it's roots, then you would love this as well. Noah Webster defined the meaning of the words in relationship to Jesus Christ. They aren't watered down and diluted to make the next generation happy, as what is happening with the "new" dictionaries of today. I believe you won't find such a valuable resource as this for your library. You don't even need an English curriculum as this fully covers that. I recommend it highly. Click here for a comparison of this dictionary and dictionaries now.
While I'm at it we found one more gold nugget. It's called The Original Blue Back Speller and it was also written by Noah Webster. Take a peek inside! It a book of common sense things and was used to homeschool kids way back in the day but is still applicable today. It's small but packed full of useful information. Talk about simplifying the way we educate our children.

Going back to our roots is working for us today.
To see what's working for everyone else head on over to We Are That Family!

It just keeps coming!

The lessons just keep coming. I guess you just never stop learning. But why do most of those have to be learned the hard way? *sigh*

This week I learned that.....

1. you don't want to go to a major wholesale club after it's been raining for 5 days straight and it finally clears up enough to venture out and EVERYONE has the same idea as you do!

2. if your two boys are in their bedroom "playing" it won't be long before someone is "crying".

3. rain is nice but it get's old all day after day and then when it stops you realize that now you have to mow the lawn. *sigh*

4. when you see the first mosquito of the season it won't be long till you'll be eaten alive by all it's relatives!

5. a kids movie can make you break out in hysterical laughter. (Horton Hears a Who- He's on the bridge! That's all I'll say!)

6. when you take your boat out on it's "maiden" voyage after your husband has been working on the motors for 6 months, is not very enjoyable. It's stressful!

7. your friend can tell you something that she could only tell "you" and you almost throw up from laughing so hard.

8. you can't roast a marshmallow with a magnifying glass. (I was bored) Though you can burn a hole clean through it and it smells really good.

9. it has to be hotter than you think to fry an egg on the sidewalk. (I was REALLY bored)

Do you feel more enlightened? Well you should. Those are some good lessons up there. I'm saving you heaps of time! You're not going to know what to do with all that extra time you have now. You might have time to leave a really amusing comment about something you learned this week! Yeah! Enlighten me my sweet friends!
If you want to see what others are learning head on over to Musings of a Housewife!

Have a most excellent day!!

Enjoy!

Found this while doing some perusing!

You want to know where 90% of the people of Melbourne, FL were this past Saturday? Cause I can tell you! Sam's Club. Have mercy! It's stops raining for a few hours and EVERYONE and their MOTHER went to Sam's. How do I know this? Because I too had cabin fever and headed out to do my monthly Sam's shopping trip. What I didn't expect is the Christmas like crowd that was there. I literally had to park out in the Dopey 98 section. Seriously I parked closer to their gas pumps then I did the actual store. And as always, people were patient, kind, and on their best behavior! Yeah, right! I had to leave and come back to several areas that I wanted to check out because people lined the aisles. I purposely went down the detergent aisle just because it was empty. I didn't need detergent but it was EMPTY! * deep breath* As aisles thinned out a bit I was able to gather my necessities. I love to stroll by the book section. I don't know why. I don't have time to read books. But I love to "look" at them. Especially the cookbooks. I don't need any more cookbooks! I need intervention! But as I came to a slow pause around that section this caught my eye! A Debbie Mumm Home Cooking Recipe Binder! You all remember MY binder right? Well I love it because I can put my favorite recipes all in one book. But this was too cute to pass up. It came with a note pad and magnets and pretty paper to print your recipes on and splash guards.........(can you picture my excitement?) And the cool thing is is that the stuff I already have printed out in MY binder will fit into this one! YES!
Here's a look at the inside.

And the pretty paper to print my recipes on!
Isn't it just too cute? How much you ask? $9.88! Not bad, says I! I should buy more and print my recipes out to put in them and sell those bad boys! LOL. Hmmmm!

I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day! God Bless America!

Friday Funnies

I got my days all messed up this week. I almost forgot it was Friday tomorrow which is today by the time this is posted and I always do this the night before (right now) and I was on my way to bed when I realized that it was Thursday night (yesterday which is today right now for me while I'm doing this.) Got it? Clear as mud. I know!
What ever day it is, I'm ready for a good laugh. If you have a good laugh to share, go post about it and come back and link up to that post with Mr. Linky down below.

Now I was going to post a joke this week but I found this commercial right after I posted last weeks funnies, which were also commercials, but I laughed so hard I had to post it for this weeks. This may not be as funny to you as it is to me but I'll tell you why I think it's so funny.
First of all I have the same exact dog in this commercial and MY dog does the same exact thing on my WHITE throw rug and has the same exact expression on her face while doing it!
Either way I hope you get a giggle out of it.

Go back and look at that dogs face again. That dog is in heaven! LOL. Oh me!
Happy Friday!!

If I've said it once I've said it 4 times this week!

I'm out of SUGAR! Yes, I said sugar. I know. How does something like this happen? Especially to someone who loves a little sweet every now and again. I've literally said I'm out of sugar 4 times this week and believed it each time. But I seemed to have managed to find a little stashed here and there in my pantry for whatever it is I needed it for at that given time. And for some reason it hasn't made it on my shopping list the last 2 times I went to the store. Ugh! Anyway, today I needed me a little sunthin' sunthin'. Yes, chocolate! But honestly at this point I REALLY didn't think I had any more sugar anywhere. But I wanted to make those yummy No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal cookies that I know you've heard of or have made at some point in your life. But as you know, it takes sugar. I thought to myself, "what are the chances of there being sugar in the pantry somewhere, just one more time?" So once again I looked around my pantry in desperation! Could it be? Could that plastic container I see WAY in the back be housing some sugar? YES! It was BROWN sugar! Didn't care! There was about a 1/4 cup left. So I seriously downsized my recipe and made me some chocolate yum yums!(They turned out great by the way!) Sugar is now on my grocery list! Oy! There have been too many close calls this week and I can't handle any more.

Needing someone to sympathize with me, I called my friend Kathy and told her my dilemma. I just want you to know, she doesn't have the same problem. In fact I made her take a picture of her "sugar stash" and send it to me. This would have been great if she lived next door! An addiction maybe? Yeah! This girl needs intervention people! Have mercy!

So there you have it. My almost traumatic incident! As you can imagine I will be going to the store tomorrow. Or Kathy's!
Anything like this ever happen to you?
Have a great day my friends!

Works For Me Wednesday

I wasn't sure if I had something that was working for me this week but then realized I did. Woo! Hoo! My recipe binder. Most of you know that I have a cooking blog, but I also have those recipes neatly tucked away in one handy dandy binder.
All you need is a colorful binder, one that will stand out and you'll know exactly what it's for. Some page protectors, page tabs and a printer.
Simply print out your favorite, tried and true recipes, put them in a page protector (helps protect your recipes from spills, for those of use who have a reputation for being a bit messy), make category dividers and you're done.
Here's mine. I picked a binder that stands out from my plain ol' white binders. I know without a doubt that this is my recipe book. (Word of caution. Don't set plastic binder on hot burner and then wonder what smells like burning plastic. Just don't.)
Here's a peek inside.
I take all my favorite recipes from all my cookbooks and compile them in this one. Then there isn't any hunting around for your family favorites. I used these free printable dividers from Sheri or you can make your own.

To see what's working for others head on over to We Are That Family.

Hawaiian Cake

I love this cake! Especially around Spring and Summer. It's so light tasting and I've had people that don't even "like" cake ask for seconds.
There are two ways to make it. The "EASY" way or "MY" way! LOL.
I'll give you the "EASY" way first.
Ingredients

1 Vanilla Cake Mix
1 8oz cream cheese softened
1 20 oz. crushed pineapple
1 3oz. package of vanilla instant pudding
1 cup cold milk
1 9oz container of cool whip
nuts and coconut for garnish

Directions:
Prepare cake mix according to package directions, using the reserved pineapple juice and water for the liquid called for in the directions.
Split between 2- 8 inch round pans.
Bake at 350° F. for about 30 minutes
Cool in pans, set aside.
In a large bowl blend together cream cheese, pudding mix and milk until smooth. Fold in drained pineapple and spread half of the mixture over top of 1st cake. Place second cake on top of first and spread with remaining filling.
Cover with whipped topping and sprinkle with nuts and coconut.
Refrigerate.

Now the only difference between the "EASY" way and "MY" way is I make my cake from scratch and my vanilla pudding from scratch!
So if you feel like it here is the recipe for Vanilla Pudding. Just make sure you omit the milk in recipe above if making this from scratch. And here is a Vanilla Cake Recipe.
I've made it both the easy way and the "MY" way and it comes out delicious. My way is just a bit "healthier" LOL.
ENJOY!

I ignored them right to death.

It's no secret that I LOVE flowers. My husband knows this and brings me a bouquet every month from a vendor on the side of the road. I try to make them go as long as possible just so I can have fresh flowers INSIDE the house. But I also enjoy them outside and I've recently been planting some.
We had a bird bath that was not being used over in the side yard so I had my husband bring it over and place it in front of the deck where I would be able to enjoy watching the birds and squirrels get drinks and watch the mocking birds take baths. It's just fun. But it looked naked all by itself so I planted some pretty flowers around it.
Here is a picture that I took at night of it that I think came out pretty cool.
I also had done some planting directly in front of the deck. I diligently watered them all and pulled off the old flowers and just really kept up with them. Making sure they had just what they needed.
Meanwhile...... in another part of the house, this was happening.
The sad thing? I didn't even notice they were dying. They didn't get this way over night. How long had they been that way? I was eating dinner (where these are basically right in front of me and have been for awhile now, obviously) and I looked over because a flower head had completely fallen off (because it was past dead) and it caught my attention. I was like "How long have these been like that?" and my daughter says quite awhile and she'd been wondering why I hadn't thrown them away. *sigh* My poor inside flowers were completely neglected as I pampered my flowers outside. *sigh* Sad huh?
The good news is is that we finally got a good rain yesterday and all my plants and flowers are loving it!
HUGS!

Are you kidding me?

The other night I was sitting at my table eating take out with my friends and I saw this. Yes, it's a moist towelette, as stated on the front. The part that cracked me up was the fact that they felt the need to put DIRECTIONS on it. Go ahead read, I'll wait!
Yes, it actually says "Tear open packet and use." Now I ask you, are there really people out there that would need to be told to do this? Are there actually people that would try to use it WITHOUT opening the packet? Are there people that would open the packet and NOT use it? Don't answer that for I fear I know the answer already.
Does anyone else feel like their intelligence was being questioned here? Because I sure did! LOL.
It bothered me so badly I had to share. Okay, it didn't really "bother" me it just made me question the general intelligence of people. LOL.
Have you ever read anything like that and thought the same thing?

BIG HUGS!

Saturday, May 16, 2009

It's been 38 years 298 days since my last one.

Yup, I had my very first pedicure this past Thursday. I know I know, the horror!
I'm just not a pamper yourself kind of gal but my wonderful husband got me a gift certificate for Mother's Day so I HAD to go. Yes the arm twisting was terrible and the kicking and screaming finally stopped, so I went. But you can't go alone, on no. I took the person who goat roped me into it and sent me the link to send to my husband as a hint. Yes, the cat's out of the bag. I actually asked for this.
But you can't just get a pedicure and go home, right? Right? No, you have to schedule your appointment just right so when you're done it just HAPPENS to be lunch time. And you can't help it if the place you're having lunch happens to be right next to your favorite candle store can you? No. And it's not my fault that you can see the candy store across the street from there is it? Is it? No. I am innocent. And the fact that by then it was time for an afternoon cup of java and there happen to be a quaint little coffee place right down the road begging for us to stop in, isn't my fault right? No. And the fact that I dipped my peanut butter fudge into my Amaretto Chocolate Coffee wasn't my fau........no, that was all me! It was so good.
Do you want to see the highlights of the day? Well here they are.

This was my happy place for the next hour!
This is us relaxing.
No wait this is us relaxing, maybe a bit to much!
Here I am being turned into Smurfette!
I can honestly say I've never had my feet dipped in hot wax before. That was interesting.
I'm not one who likes to flaunt her feet but you have to see the finished project!
As you already know we had lunch, then I bought me a wonderful smelling candle. It was called Fruit Slices from Bean Pod if anyone is interested. And then somehow we ended up here!I'd describe it as heaven but I know in heaven you wouldn't gain 5 lbs just standing there trying to decide what you're NOT going to eat.
We got our peanut butter fudge and headed out towards the coffee shop. And we didn't want to be rude and eat our fudge there so we opted to get one of their brownies and share it.
Then after the guilt was gone we THEN whipped out the fudge and ate "some". And yes I really did dunk it in my coffee. See!

Here's my friend Kathy on her sugar, caffeinated high! LOL.
Well I could go on and on but I know you all are busy so we'll stop right here. All and all I had a simply marvelous day and it was a nice break from the every day.
Have a great weekend my friends.

Friday Funnies

It is Friday once again and it's time to get your funny on! So go post about it and come back and link it to Mr. Linky Down below. Let's end this week with some serious giggles.

Okay, I don't watch TV so when a funny commercial falls into my lap I have to share. You may have seen this a hundred times but it's new to me.

Okay, I'm sorry! This one just cracks me up! I hope you enjoy it too!

My Mornin' Chillin'! Grab your coffee and join me!

You ever wonder where people do there waking up in the morning? Well I thought I would take you to my morning chillin' spot. You know the place where you sit and ponder the important things. Like, wondering if I could sneak back in the house and make more coffee without waking the kids. Or, why in the world I painted my toenails that color. You know, the life changing thoughts that will either make or break your day. Yes, it all happens right here!

So here you are, the view from my mornin' chillin' deck chair. It'll be like you're sitting there with me. Well, it would actually be like you're on my lap, so just try to shift your view a little to the left. No make that the right because my hubbalicious sits on my left. Got an empty seat on the right, sit there!
This is looking straight out into our yard. This particular morning it was so quiet that we could actually hear the ocean.
View to the right.
View to the left. There's my sweetness filling the bird feeder.
As I was sitting and pondering the important things, I began to think what a cool picture the chimnea would make so here is a couple of pictures we took. I thought they looked pretty cool.Won't you join me some time?
The deck is always open and the coffee is always hot!

Where do you do your mornin' chillin'? Do you have a special spot that you do your waking up in the morning? Share, take pictures, take us there. I'm the kind of person that will look in your window at night if the curtains are open just to get a peek inside!(While DRIVING by!) No, I don't press my face up against the window. I know what you were thinking. You thought I was some kind of a nut, didn't you? Uh huh! You know you do it too! Just call me Alice Kravitz! (That will only be funny to certain people who know who that is.) Do you know?

Hugs to you my sweet friends!!

On the down side of things!

Last week I posted about my "free" coffee maker that I was so excited about. Now I "know" that nothing in life is "free" and I've done the math and figured out just how NOT free this coffee maker is.
The coffee on the right is a whole bean organic coffee I buy at Sam's Club. On the left is the coffee that came with the "free" coffee maker.
Bag on the right? 40 oz. Box on the left? 8 oz.
Bag on the right? Rounded up to $14.00. Box on the left? Rounded up to $8.00
So let's see, to buy 40 oz of the coffee on the left it would be......$40.00!!! No, uh uh! I don't think so. And one of those boxes only last a week between the two of us so that would be $160.00 in coffee a month. That would be $1920.00 a year! Uh, no! Not going to happen. I also like to eat! So with that said, here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to set my auto ship out as far as it can go (12 weeks) get one more order and then cancel that bad boy. By then I'm pretty sure my conscious will be clear and I can enjoy my partially free coffee maker.
Moral of this story? Uh, quit drinking coffee because it's too expensive and not a necessity? Nah! Buy Sam's coffee, grind your own, get your free coffee maker, enjoy your first shipment of coffee laced with gold, cancel, and have a second cup! YES!

Is anyone else's brain hurting from all this math? Phew! I think I'll go grab me a cup right now and take a moment to reflect and let the mind relax a bit! LOL.
Hugs to you my friends.

Oh and don't forget about Sarah Mae's Giveaway Party this week. Her button is on my sidebar and there are fabulous prizes!

It's gleaning time!

Oh man, these weeks seem to fly by! It's so true what they say about the older you get, the time goes by so much faster. I remember as a kid, days just dragging on and on and I thought Christmas would never get here! What does Christmas have to do with this post? Nothing. I just really like Christmas!
Anyway, I did learn a few unimportant, semi-meaningless, probably wouldn't have killed me had I never learned them, things this week. So just sick back, relax and soak it all in.

This week I learned ........

1. .....that this dove obviously thought we had no need for this ladder for a couple of months.
2. ...that Mother's Day doesn't come near enough. I liked the bit of pampering!

3. ....that I can do a spin class for 50 mins. and feel great afterwards but somehow pull something in my shoulder while getting undressed! *sigh*

4. ...that if you eat lunch at 3:00pm you aren't going to be so hungry when you and your hubby go over to a friends house for dinner 2 hours later.

5. ....that it's inevitable that if you are busy and sit down to do something, the phone will ring, the youngest will find you locked in the office and say he's hungry, and someone will come to the door, all within minutes of each other. And if you're me you'll completely forget what you were doing for the rest of the day! *sigh*

6.. .....that I won the Funniest Blog Award! I just found this out 2 mins. ago. Thank you all so much for voting for me. I'm so glad that you get some giggles from my blog. I tend to see life through goofy colored glasses and this blog has been so great at spilling it out. You gals rock and I'm so blessed by you all.

Well I think that's it for now. Either that or I just can't remember any more. I'm sure this will hold you over till next week. If you feel like gleaning more from others, head on over to Musings of a Housewife.

GREAT BIG HUGS to you all!

Mish Mash on Monday *Update* Voting Day!

Hello everyone. I hope everyone enjoyed a peaceful Mother's Day! I sure did.
I have a few things to mention today.

As I mentioned on Saturday, I have been nominated for the "Funniest" Blog Award . I don't usually "promote" myself but someone nominated me, there's free coffee involved, so I'm going for it. Hee! Hee! AND I was just over there checking it out and I'm also nominated for best "Cooking Blog", go figure! I wonder if I win both I would get 2 Starbucks gift cards. LOL. Anyway Amanda is going to be holding the voting for that over at her blog. So if you could just take a minute to go over there and vote I would appreciate it. Okay, enough about me. Let's move on!
Update: It's a tight race right now for Funniest Blog in fact I see that I'm losing! *sigh* LOL. I need free coffee! Hee! Hee! Every vote counts!

The second thing is, I wanted to let you know about a week long giveaway over at Like A Warm Cup of Coffee. Sarah Mae is celebrating her 1 year blogaversary and she's giving away some fabulous prizes. If you've never met Sarah Mae you'll be in for a treat. I have no problem promoting her blog because she has some fabulous stuff on there. Many topics that others wouldn't touch. I admire her so much. So hop on over there and give her a shout out.
Like a Warm Cup of Coffee <span class=

And the last thing is, my friend Sheri is giving away a free e-book, Baby Steps to Better Health. She will have it up for grabs until Tuesday night. So hurry on over and check it out and thank her for such an insightful book.

This just in. Over at my friend Sandy's blog, 4 Reluctant Entertainers, she is giving away a wonderful book called Foods to Live By from Earthbound Farm Organic Cookbook! It sounds great. Go check it out!!

Be sure to stop by tomorrow to see if I've learned anything this week! It's always something isn't it? Oy!
Big Hugs!

If you've got a minute *Update*

UPDATE-Apparently I'm not sure what I'm talking about half the time and this is no exception! LOL.
The "official" voting isn't until Monday the 11th on Amanda's blog. This was just a nomination period. So if you all could go there Monday and "vote" that would be great! I'll send a reminder out Monday. Remember support the cause. You know my coffee obsession cause! Woo! Hoo!

I received an email from my friend Amanda yesterday saying that I've been nominated for one of the Awesome Blog awards in the category of, get this, Funniest Blog. Yeah, I know. Not sure where that came from! But apparantly there are a few who have voted for me in that category. You know I put a lot of "serious" thought into my posts, at least 50% of the time. So I'm not sure if I should be flattered or insulted! LOL. Just kidding. It makes me happy to know that my little ol' blog brings you all some smiles.
She instructed us to do a little horn tooting but I refuse to lower myself to that level, so instead I'm going to do a little begging! LOL. Oh how I kid! Honestly, I'm in it for the Starbucks card. So if you want to fuel my coffee obsession you can go over to the blog set up for this and vote for me for "Funniest" blog. You don't have to say anything just copy and paste my URL and put it in the comment box. But please don't feel obligated but hurry because voting ends this weekend. But no pressure. Technically I should have 117 votes but it's not like I am going to be keeping tabs or anything. Hee! Hee! Just kidding. Do it if you want and don't do it, well, if you don't want, to? You get the idea! LOL.

With that said, I feel the need to leave you with a tid bit of important information so you will feel that coming over and reading this today was worthwhile. I read that they are raising the price of the postage stamp once again. So be sure to get your stamps before this Monday or you'll be paying 2 cents more a piece.

Have a most excellent weekend my friends!!!

Friday Funnies

Woot! Woot! It's Friday! It's Friday! I love Fridays! I love reading or watching your funnies. There were some pretty good ones last week too. So if you got something to share go post it come back and link up that post to Mr. Linky down below! Let's share some giggles today girls!
Okay, in honor of Mother's Day coming up I thought I would post a Mommy funny!
Enjoy!

Things a Mom Would Never Say

  • "How on earth can you see the TV sitting so far back?"

  • "Yeah, I used to skip school a lot, too"

Homeschooling My Highschooler and a Sale!

We are not your typical family. We don't watch "tv", family is our first priority, I am a stay at home Mom and wife, and we LOVE the Lord with all our heart. You might be saying, "That's not so odd." Believe it or not in today's society it is. The Lord has a way of changing you. I swore I would never homeschool, yet I home school. I knew I never wanted any kids when I was a teenager, yet I have 3 beautiful children. I never thought I could find a man that would love me so much after my divorce, yet I did! God is good and when we listen to Him and his direction, life is so much more meaningful.
Now on to my daughter. She is unusual (in the worlds eyes). She has grasped her roll as a teenage girl who wants to wait. Wait for what? Wait for the for the man who the Lord has intended for her and her alone. She doesn't want to date and explore, she is learning her roll as a future homemaker in the safety of our home. She has gotten ridiculed by others because of her modesty and lifestyle of choice. She has maturity beyond her years and we are very proud of her. So since she's now in High School I wanted to find something that would embrace what she is trying to accomplish. I then "stumbled" across this curriculum by Lynda Coats. It's called Far Above Rubies and it is wonderful. We are going to start it really soon. Here is the website that will tell you more about it if you are interested.

    Now for a great sale!!!
Also I wanted to tell all you homeschoolers about this great sale that Notebooking Pages is having. Everything is 50% off for the next 2 days. Just click here to go there. I bought their whole set last year and we love it.

I know that a lot of homeschoolers read my blog so I hope this was helpful for you!
As for everyone else, if you read it, then I'm impressed! LOL.
Come back tomorrow for Friday Funnies!

Works For Me Wednesday- Free Coffee Maker

Most of you know I enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. It's just that go to thing that makes you feel good. I usually drink it while "blogging", hence the reason why there is a cup right here in front of me! Woo! Hoo! Well the coffee maker that we had was a hand me down and well on it's way out. We had been half heartedly shopping around for one but most of them weren't any better than the one we had and the ones that were ended up being pretty expensive.
My friend Kathy had told me about the Gevalia deal so I decided to check it out. Usually I think that anything that is "free" really isn't "free". You know what I mean? Like there is a hidden charge of $50.00 for shipping or your obligated to buy something else for the next 10 years. But throwing caution to the wind I ordered one and just got it in the mail 2 days ago. They said it would take 2 weeks but it took like 4 days. And they were true to their word. I was only billed $14.95 and that included the coffee of your choice to come with it. Now if there is a "catch", here it is. You are on auto ship for the coffee of your choice, BUT you can make the shipments as far as 12 weeks apart. Plus I'm pretty sure you can cancel at anytime. But I kind of like the idea of getting coffee shipped to my door so I put mine on 8 week auto ship. Oh and it's like a $100.00 coffee maker "so they say"!
Here's a picture of it as it's brewing my morning coffee, LOL! Not that you can see it brewing but I thought you could just visualize that part yourself!
    SWEET HUH?
If you want to check out what's working for others head on over to We are That Family who is the host of this carnival!
